Transaction Information includes items purchased and date and time of your transaction for online purchases.

Our Use Of Information Technologies

Website Optimization Services (ADV, OPS)
Akilar shares data with Google Analytics tools to understand and optimize website performance and enhance site usability for our customers. Google Analytics runs in the background of our sites analyzing site usage information.

Interest-Based or Online Behavioral Advertising (OBA) (ADV, OPS)
Akilar uses third-party advertising companies to serve interest-based advertisements. These companies compile information from various online sources to match user profiles with ads we believe will be most relevant.

Do Not Track (DNT) (ADV, OPS)
Akilar does not currently recognize and process Do Not Track signals from different web browsers.

Managing Your Preferences

Ownership Of Customer Data
If Akilar, its parent company or any of its subsidiaries is sold to or otherwise acquired by a third party, all Akilar data assets will become the property of the acquiring party.

SMS Abandoned Cart Disclosure
The website uses cookies to help keep track of items you put into your shopping cart including when you have abandoned your cart and this information is used to determine when to send cart reminder messages via SMS.

Third-Party Data Sharing
The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Information About Children Under 13
Our current policy is not to collect any personal information on any person under 13 years old online.

Delaware Residents
Under Delaware law, residents may request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
If you are a minor under 18 and have a profile on akilar.com, you may ask us to remove reviews or other content that you posted on the site.

Akilar has put various procedural, technical, and administrative measures in place to safeguard the information we collect and use. We designed our technology-enabled services to accept orders only from Web and mobile browsers that permit communication through a Secure Socket Layer (SSL). SSL is an encryption standard that provides a layer of security while information is being transmitted over the Internet.
As a matter of policy, we do not disclose details regarding our security measures.
